Bahakel Communications is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based communications company that owns radio and television stations in the United States. Cy Bahakel founded the company in 1953, and ran it until his death at age 87 on April 20, 2006.
Bahakel Communications owns these five television stations: WCCB-18 (Fox) in Charlotte, North Carolina (flagship station), WOLO-25 (ABC) in Columbia, South Carolina, WFXB-43 (Fox) in Myrtle Beach-Florence, South Carolina, WAKA-8 (CBS) in Montgomery-Selma, Alabama, and WBBJ-7 (ABC) in Jackson, Tennessee.
The company also owns ten radio stations.
